How to modify files: Page rotation, splitting, removal

Use Impira's file modification toolkit to optimize your files before starting the data extraction process.

Rotating pages of a file

First, set yourself up for success

Making sure that each page is properly oriented before beginning to extract data will give you the best chance for great results.

Step 1: Open Extraction view

Step 2: Modify file

Click the file name in the upper left corner and choose Modify pages.

Step 3: Rotate

Hover over any page and rotate the page clockwise or counterclockwise with the directional arrow icons and choose Save then Confirm.

Note: Impira will automatically detect and correct the orientation of pages in your file upon upload. If you’d like to turn this off, let us know at support@impira.com.

Splitting a multi-page file into separate files

Follow Steps 1 and 2 as seen above to begin a file modification.

Hover your cursor between pages you want to split, and you’ll see a dotted line appear. Click the dotted line to place a split. Choose Save and Confirm to complete your modification.

Removing page(s) from a file

Follow Steps 1 and 2 as seen above to begin a file modification.

Hover over any page and select the trash can icon. Choose Save and Confirm to complete your modification.

Renaming files

You can also rename files in the same dropdown menu you used to find the file modification toolkit. Read more.
